29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): An employee was exposed to an airborne concentration of Particulates Not Otherwise Regulated (PNOR) listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 15 milligrams per cubic meter in air (mg/m�): a. Large Boat 4&5 Area: On May 11, 2023, the employer exposed a trim & grind tech to an 8-hour calculated Time Weighted Average (TWA) of 23 mg/m� which is 1.5 times the 8-hour TWA Permissible Exposure Level (PEL) of 15 mg/m� while conducting trim and grinding operations. Results were calculated based on the 255 minute sampling period.

29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i): The employer did not prohibit respirators with tight-fitting facepieces to be worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face: a. PI Building Area: On or about May 11, 2023, the employer exposed an employee to respiratory hazards in that an employee was allowed to have facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the respirator facepiece and his face resulting in inadequate seal.
