29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about March 19, 2023 and at times prior to, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards while feeding material into the feeder box of Extruder 5 and other similar machines when machine guarding was not in place to protect the operator from rotating parts and/or nip points.
