29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a. 50 - 54 Sussex Avenue, Newark, NJ 07102 The employees were exposed to electrical hazards at the construction site without being instructed in recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions applicable to their work environment. The employees were using temporary lighting connected to a power tap without a grounding prong, and the power to the power tap was directly from a generator which was not grounded. Violation observed 3/23/2023
