29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above the floor or platform were not enclosed: a.) On or about March 28, 2023, in the warehouse at Laminator 1, employees were exposed to a nip point on an unenclosed chain and sprocket located approximately 63 inches above the floor while standing next to it to monitor the operation or when walking past it in a space that was approximately 36 inches wide. b.) On or about March 28, 2023, in the warehouse at Laminator 2, employees were exposed to a nip point on an unenclosed chain and sprocket located approximately 63 inches above the floor while standing next to it to monitor the operation or when walking past it in a space that was approximately 36 inches wide.
