Engine 41: On or before April 04, 2023, Employees conducted fire confinement and protecting adjacent sources of ignition and were not fit tested prior to utilizing the required tight fitting full face respirator with Self Contained Breathing Apparatus pressure demand. Employees were potentially exposed to the byproducts of smoke generated by the fire including volatile organic compounds (VOC), carbon monoxide (CO) and fine particulate matter (PM).
