29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were being placed in services after the examination showed condition(s) adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle: On or about March 30, 2023, and at times prior thereto, two employees were operating two powered industrial trucks throughout the establishment that were in need of repairs and were not removed from service, exposing employees to struck-by hazards. The Tricon Precast Limited was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1537839, citation number 2, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on January 10, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 21248 Old Nacogdoches Road New Braunfels, Texas 78132.
