29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. a) Stockroom - On March 30, 2023, the employer did not ensure the passageways in the stockroom and general condition of the stockroom was kept in an orderly condition. Employees were exposed to slip, trip, fall, and fire hazards within the storeroom from wheeled carts, large boxes, and merchandise throughout the walking-working surface. No abatement certification is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) Stockroom - On March 30, 2023, materials including full garbage bags and a trash bin were placed directly in front of the stockroom rear exit door to the outside, obstructing access to the door. b) Stockroom - On March 30, 2023, cardboard boxes with products, shopping carts and u-boat utility carts full of merchandise obstructed the width of the exit route from the employee break area to the rear exit door. No abatement certification is required for this item.
