29 CFR  1910.243(c)(1): Abrasive wheel(s) were used on portable grinder(s) which were not provided with safety guard(s) meeting the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1) through (c)(4)(a)   a) Bays 1 and  2:  On March 30, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and laceration hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that each portable grinder (including the DeWalt Model DCG412 4-1/2" (115mm) / 5'' (125mm) Grinder and the Rotozip Rotosaw) was operated with an appropriate guard as employees used the equipment to repair tractor -trailers.
