29 CFR  1926.304(g)(1):The upper hood shall completely enclose the upper portion of the blade down to a point that will include the end of the saw arbor. The upper hood shall be constructed in such a manner and of such material that it will protect the operator from flying splinters, broken saw teeth, etc., and will defect sawdust away from the operator. The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade shall be guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that will automatically adjust itself to the thickness of the stock and remain in contact with stock being cut to give maximum protection possible for the operation being performed.  A) 492 Plainfield Rd Edison, NJ 08820  Employee was using a portable table top miter saw with the guard completely removed.  Hazard noted on or about 03/31/23

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1m) above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in accordance with paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section:  A)492 Plainfield Rd Edison, NJ 08820  Employees working off pump-jack scaffold were not protected by any means of fall protection. The employee were working at heights ranging from 17ft to 20ft. A fall from this height could result in death.   Hazard noted on or about 03/31/23 MQM was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1340671 citation number 1,  item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/19/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 19 Ten Eyck Place in Edison NJ.
