29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:  a) On or about May 3, 2023, and at times prior, the employer attached flexible cords and/or cables to and through building surfaces to power lighting and power systems in the upstairs storage area, the dust box work area, and more. The employer used numerous extension cords and temporary power taps to power lighting and power systems throughout the entire facility.  The extension cords and temporary power taps were pushed up to the building surfaces and some were secure.  This condition exposed the employees to electrical shock hazards.
