29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazards created by in-going nip points, rotating parts, and/or flying chips and sparks: (a)Balance Systems, Inc. dba Amesbury Truth at 5001 West Delbridge Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57107: On or about and at times prior to April 5, 2023, the employer did not ensure adequate guarding was in place on the Rod Winder machine within the extension springs area. This condition exposed an employees to caught-in or pinch point hazards.
