29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a) Facility, emergency eye was stations were not provided in areas including:  1. Warehouse, where employees added distilled water to the open cell battery on the Yale stand-up forklift.  2. Anchor Grill and Janitor Closet, where employees used germicidal bleach (labeled as a corrosive) mixed with water to disinfect surfaces such as, but not limited to, wooden cutting boards and restroom floors.

The Navy Exchange was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1554565, citation number 1, item number1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 4, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at Oak Harbor, WA.  The Navy Exchange was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1525531, citation number 1, item number1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 19, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at Bremerton, WA.  The Navy Exchange was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1501256, citation number 1, item number1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 10, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at Everett, WA.
