Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about April 10, 2023, located at 2826 Taylor Road, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, the employer did not ensure subcontractor employees were protected from fall hazards from approximately 30 feet while performing roofing work on the roof of a three story hotel.
