29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):"Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about April 10, 2023, located at 2826 Taylor Road, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards while performing roofing work on the roof of a three story hotel. Roofing & Remodeling Group LLC was previously cited under the name David Martinez for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1554468, citation number1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on January 5, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 6433 Cranston Way, Dublin, OH 43016.
