29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person(s). Autry Pond Subdivision: On or about April 11, 2023, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not perform frequent and regular inspections of the residential construction site, exposing workers to hazards such as, but not limited to fall hazards and struck-by hazards. Meritage Homes of Texas, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 156477, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 6/15/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Fm1327 Turnersville Road.
