Store No . 1248, located at 1227 E Grove Ave, Rantoul, Illinois. The employer does not ensure employees are protected from potential injuries from fire or other emergencies when the emergency exit access from the employee restroom located in the back storage room to the single door emergency exit is partially obstructed with storage containers, a ladder, a trash can, a u-boat , and various items, narrowing the exit access to approximately 23 inches.  b) This most recently occurred on or about May 8, 2023, at Family Dollar Stores Inc. Store No . 1248, located at 1227 E Grove Ave, Rantoul, Illinois. The employer does not ensure employees are protected from potential injuries from fire or other emergencies when the emergency exit access from shopping aisle 11 to the emergency exit located at the front of the store is partially obstructed with a display box of pull up diapers and a red shelving display box with merchandise, narrowing the exit access to approximately 24 inches.  c) This most recently occurred on or about May 8, 2023, at Family Dollar Stores Inc. Store No . 1248, located at 1227 E Grove Ave, Rantoul, Illinois. The employer does not ensure employees are protected from potential injuries from fire or other emergencies when the emergency exit access between shopping aisle 12 and 13 to the emergency exit located at the front of the store is partially obstructed with a shopping cart storing clearance clothing and the shelving that displays merchandise, narrowing the exit access to approximately 11 inches.  d) This most recently occurred on or about May 8, 2023, at Family Dollar Stores Inc. Store No . 1248, located at 1227 E Grove Ave, Rantoul, Illinois. The employer does not ensure employees are protected from potential injuries from fire or other emergencies when the emergency exit access between shopping aisle 14 and 15 to the emergency exit located at the front of the store is partially obstructed with a display box of lawn chairs and a u-boat stored with merchandise, narrowing the exit access to approximately 18 inches.  THE FAMILY DOLLAR STORES, INC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1641721, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 16, 2023, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 124 US 1, BUCKSPORT, MAINE 04416.
