29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: JOB SITE: 7940 Watson Rd., Marlborough, MO: On or about 4/11/2023, the employer did not ensure the employees at the job site used Vulcan A-frame ladders in the manner for which they were designed. An employee working at a height of approximately seven (7) feet straddled the top of the Vulcan A-Frame ladder and stood on the top rung of the ladder which is not allowed according to the safety instructions on the side of the ladder that was in use.
