29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a) On or about April 11, 2023, employees installing metal siding on a building were exposed to falls to lower levels while working from an JLG aerial lift (orange - number 94895R) because body harnesses worn were not connected to a lanyard that was attached to the boom or basket. b) On or about April 11, 2023, employees installing metal siding on a building were exposed to falls to lower levels while working from JLG aerial lift (purple - s/n - 0300050040) because body harnesses worn were not connected to a lanyard that was attached to the boom or basket.
