29 CFR 1926.502(d)(17): The attachment point of the body harness was not located in the center of the wearer's back near shoulder level, or above the wearer's head. A) The Gildea Group on or about April 12, 2023 at the address of 502 West 6th Street, Erie, PA: An employee was working from the 12/12 pitched roof while using a harness with the lanyard attached to the positioning device ring located at the belt line of the fall protection harness. Two employees were conducting re-roofing operations exposing employees to an 18 foot fall to the ground below.
