29 CFR 1910.22(b): The employer did not ensure that each walking-working surface can support the maximum intended load for that surface. a) On or about 4/13/2023, in the assembly area, the employer did not supply load rating for the east side assembly platforms for the working area to ensure the load could be supported. The platforms are used to lower a storage tank into an open hole to then assemble the top of the storage tanks. The assembly platforms can be raised with the overhead cranes to fit multiple sizes of tanks. Employees working below these platforms were potentially exposed to struck by/crushed hazards. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
