29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  WORKSHOP:  On/or about April 13, 2023, the wire brush grinders were unguarded at the horizontal shafts and end nuts on the equipment exposing the employees to the hazards associated with rotating parts.  ABATED DURING THE INSPECTION END NUTS ONLY.

WORKSHOP/TOOL GRINDING ROOM:  On/or about April 13, 2023, the flange and spindle end of the 3M surface grinder was partially unguarded exposing the employee to the hazard rotating parts.
