29 CFR 1926.701(b):All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: At the worksite located at 1600 NW 45 HWY, Parkville MO, employees of a subcontractor were exposed to impalement hazards when work was being performed above and next to unguarded reinforcing steel located on the east wall of the building. The controlling contractor had not addressed or corrected the hazard before allowing work to proceed in the exposure area. This was documented on or about 4/12/2023.
