29 CFR  1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  Tin Plating: On or about June 26, 2023, the provided eyewash station was not adequate, where corrosives such as sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide were used. The eyewash bowl was covered in dirt and full of trash.

29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  Plating Lines: On or about  April 13 and June 26, 2023, there were dryers with rotating parts that were not guarded.  Dryers continued to spin when covers were opened, exposing employees to the rotating buckets of metal parts.

Along wall across from Plating lines 4 and 3:  On or about  April 13 and June 26, 2023,  there was a knockout opening in a outlet switch box, that was not covered .

Plating Line 4b: On or about April 13, 2023, the cover on an electrical control box for a dryer was removed, exposing live electrical parts inside. b. Tin Plating  Line: On or about June 26, 2026,  the cover on an electrical control box for a dryer was removed, exposing live electrical parts inside. b. Near Eyewash Station:  On or about April 13 and June 26, 2023, the cover on an outlet switch was not secured to the  box, exposing live electrical parts inside.

29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(10):  The employer did not ensure that workplace labels or other forms of warnings were legible, in English and prominently displaced on the container or readily available in the work area throughout each work shift   Plating: On or about April  13 and June 26, 2023, there were hazards warning labels over tanks that were not fully legible due to deterioration of the print. Tanks with inadequate legible labels included, but were not limited to, Hydrochloric Acid, Trivalent Chromium, and Hexavalent Chromium.
