29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) On March 15, 2023, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8.7 feet while performing roofing work from the roof of a residential structure. Juan Mora dba Mora and Sons LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544278, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on November 8, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2509 Astor Ct., Glenview, IL 60623. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
