29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3):The employer did not assure that portable fire extinguishers are subjected to an annual maintenance check with the annual maintenance date retained for one year after the last entry and the record made available to the Assistant Secretary upon request: (a) on or about 3/30/2023, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to burns and smoke inhalation hazards, in that a fire extinguisher in the second floor stairwell egress was not inspected annually.

29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable extinguishers or hose used in lieu thereof under paragraph (d)(3) of this section were not visually inspected monthly: (a) on or about 3/30/2023, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to burns and smoke inhalation hazards, in that a fire extinguisher in the second floor stairwell egress was not inspected on a monthly basis The employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1329740, citation number 2, item number 1B and was affirmed as a final order on 11/5/2018, with respect to a workplace located at Ork Rock Road, Winchester Bay, OR 97467
