29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allowed, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed On or about 14 April 2023, one employee of Builders Bloc was observed working on the roof of a residential building located at 726 Palisades Drive in Saint Charles, Missouri. The ladder that the employee was using to access the roof was not extended at least three feet beyond the upper landing or edge of the roof.
