Pierrepont Ave Rutherford NJ 07070: Employees were carrying materials such as but not limited to paint container and paint brushes/roller from an extension ladder that could cause them lose balance and fall when progressing up the ladder, on or about 4/18/2023.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b)(1)  A)  45 E. Pierrepont Ave Rutherford NJ 07070 :   Employees were engaged in a painting activities  from an on a 8 on 12 pitch roof of residential building, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15ft. to the ground below as a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition observed on or about 04/18/2023.  B)  45 E. Pierrepont Ave Rutherford NJ 07070 :   Employees were engaged in a painting activities  from an on a 8 on 12 pitch roof of residential building, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 25ft. to the ground below as a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition observed on or about 04/18/2023.  The Oasis Painting & Home Improvement Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1427713, citation number 1 , item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10-07-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1710 Summit Avenue, Union City, NJ..

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access.   A) 45 E. Pierrepont Ave Rutherford NJ 07070: Employees were conducting painting work on an 8 on 12 pitched roof using a portable extension ladder in which employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15ft. to the ground below  as the ladder side rails did not extend 3ft above the upper landing surface.
