29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall stand flat on the basket and not climb or create makeshift work platforms: (a) On April 19, 2023, an employee was framing and securing the header of a doorway of a building that was being constructed at 13572 Highway 5 in Cavalier, ND, the employee was exposed to fall hazards while working in an aerial lift that was elevated twelve feet in the air. The employee did not stand flat in the basket and had climbed up and was standing on the mid-rail performing job duties.
