29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. location: south side low roof on or about: 4/21/23 a) Employees, climbing on the midrails of the JLG aerial lifts while egressing the baskets, were exposed to a fall of up to 17 feet. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.

Location: 1st floor vestibule On or about: 4/21/23 a) Employees were erecting a curtain wall. The employees were not protected from falling 11', to the ground below. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
