29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any employee may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Jobsite, 2291 Sweeney Drive A1, Clinton, PA 15026: On or about April 21, 2023, an emergency eyewash station that meets the requirements of the American National Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment (ANSI Z358.1) was not provided. Employees are required to check the battery water levels on a Toyota brand forklift and a Toyota brand order picker. There were no facilities for the quick drenching of the eyes and body in the event of contact with corrosive materials housed within the batteries.

Employees were not provided proper PPE to protect the eyes and skin from contact with corrosive liquids contained with the batteries.

29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: a) Jobsite, 2291 Sweeney Drive A1, Clinton, PA 15026: On or about April 21, 2023, the employer did not ensure that portable fire extinguishers located throughout the facility were subjected to an annual maintenance check. The tags on multiple portable fire extinguishers located throughout the facility indicated that the portable fire extinguishers were last serviced in March of 2018. The failure to ensure each portable fire extinguisher was subjected to an annual maintenance check created a fire hazard to employees working in the building.
