29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). (a) On or about April 24, 2023, employees working on a 4:12 pitch residential roof, conducting tear off of existing roof, were not using fall protection. This exposed employees on the first story roof to a fall hazard of approximately seven (7) feet to the ground below and employees on the second story roof to a fall hazard of 17 feet 9 inches to the ground below . Professional Builders WI Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1551876, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 8, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 3915 South 84th Street in Greenfield, WI 53228. Professional Builders WI Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1401641, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on October 25, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 8820 N Spruce Road in River Hills, WI 53217.

This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 7 feet to the ground below.
