29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c): On April 24, 2023, at 5412 Titanium Drive, Bismarck, North Dakota, employees were exposed to cave-in hazards while installing sewer lines in an unprotected trench up to 7 feet deep. Note: This company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1609565, Citation 1, Item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on October 14, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 820 Voyager Place in Bismarck, North Dakota.
