29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the worksite located at 30 Pershing Road Kansas City, MO: Workers were exposed to fall hazards. Employees were observed working on a flat portico greater than six feet from the ground without the use of any form of fall protection while arranging lighting equipment near the edge of the portico.

Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 70 feet from an aerial lift when lanyards were not attached to the dorsal attachment point of the harnesses being used.
