29 CFR1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Where the work permitted, welders were not enclosed in individual booths painted with a finish of low reflectivity such as zinc oxide and lamp black, or were enclosed with noncombustible screens similarly painted. Employees behind and/or in front of all welding areas were not protected from welding rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields. Workshop: On or about April 27, 2023, and times prior to, employees working in the workshop were subjected to visible light, infrared, and ultraviolet radiation due to inadequate welding screen enclosures within the welding area.
