29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) At Grand Preserve Luxury Apartments, 355 The Preserve Drive, Garage (G5), Athens, GA 30606; On or about April 28, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to falls of approximately 10-feet to the ground level, in that although employees were wearing full body harnesses they were not attached to a lanyard while cutting and installing plywood on the roof of a new garage building.
