29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  At the job site located at 7405 Hedge Lane Ter., Shawnee, Kansas,  employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 27 feet in height from a 3 story building to the ground below.  A fall protection system was not in place to keep the employees from falling, employees were wearing harnesses, but they were not tied off.  MR. OMAR BALLEZA WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1440640, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM 1, ISSUED ON 1/31/2020 WITH THE FINAL ORDER DATE OF 3/23/2020, WITH RESPECT TO A JOB SITE LOCATED AT 12100 S. PLFUMM, OLATHE, KANSAS, 66062.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  At the job site located at 7405 Hedge Lane Ter., Shawnee, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 27 feet in height from 3 story building to the ground below, fall protection training was not provided to the employees.
