The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptance and is regulated On or about April 3, 2023, an employee installing and removing signs from a elevated Sponco personnel lift, without wearing fall protection nor tied off to prevent exposure the employee to an ejection and fall hazard of approximately 50 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: On or about April 3, 2023, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from falling materials, such as LED lights and tools, were not using a protective helmet as they worked to protect them from head injuries.
