29 CFR  1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:   a) Packing/Shippng building: on or about 04-27-2023, the employer did not ensure that an appropriate eye wash was available for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes in the event of a chemical splash resulting in an exposure to an eye irritant, such as the "Johnson Professonal Go-Getter SC" or "PPG Epoxy Primer Catalyst" eye corrosives. The employer made available eye-wash stations with missin bottles of saline solution to employees, and stations that have bottles that were expired since May of 2022, for First-Aid use in the event of a splash and emergency exposure to an irritant chemical to the eyes, which could be aggravate the employee's condition, as the expired solution could be a source of a potential eye infection or irritation.

29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer did not compile a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet.   a) Throughout the Facility: on or about 04-27-2023, the employer did not compiled a list  of all the  hazardous chemical, stored or used in the workplace and did not ensure such list was readily available to all employees when they were in the work area, so the employer could maintain and to update the safety data sheets (SDS) of the chemical inventory and employees could immediately find and access the SDSs in the binder to obtain information on the control methods and protective equipment required to safely use the chemical and, in the event of a chemical accident, to access the information on the appropriate first-aid treatment as contained in the Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(8):  The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical:  a) Throughout the Facility: on or about 04-27-2023, the employer did not ensure that a copy of the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) of every hazardous chemical, stored or used in the workplace was readily available to all employees when they were in the work area, so the employees could immediately access the required information in contained in SDS, such as the selection of appropriate control methods and protective equipment and in case of an emergency, the first-aid treatment.
