29 CFR  1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:   a) Packing/Shippng building: on or about 04-27-2023, the employer did not ensure that an appropriate eye wash was available for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes in the event of a chemical splash resulting in an exposure to an eye irritant, such as the "Johnson Professonal Go-Getter SC" or "PPG Epoxy Primer Catalyst" eye corrosives. The employer made available eye-wash stations with missin bottles of saline solution to employees, and stations that have bottles that were expired since May of 2022, for First-Aid use in the event of a splash and emergency exposure to an irritant chemical to the eyes, which could be aggravate the employee's condition, as the expired solution could be a source of a potential eye infection or irritation.
