29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access. a) Jobsite: 1525 N. American Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122 - The employer did not ensure that the ladder side rails extended at least three feet above the landing surface. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet above the ground level, when using an aluminum extension ladder that did not extend at least 3 feet above the surfaces. Condition observed on or about April 27, 2023
