29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. a- 507 - 27th Street, Ocean City NJ: A worker was exposed to fall hazard, up to and in excess of 13 feet 9 inches to the ground surface below, when walking and working from a pump jack scaffold's walking/working surface that was not supplied with end stops nor a screen. Condition observed on or about 05/04/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
