29 CFR 1926.502(d)(23): Personal fall arrest systems shall not be attached to guardrail systems, nor shall they be attached to hoists except as specified in other subparts of this Part.(A) Personal fall arrest systems were attached to guardrail systems and/or hoists: On or about May 5, 2023, employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing roofing activities from a JLG on a commercial construction and the employer did not ensure the personal fall arrest systems were attached to an adequate anchor point as employees were working outside of the JLG platform and anchored to the guardrail of the JLG.
