Non-uniform rung spacing caused by joining end frames together is allowed, provided the spacing does not exceed 16 3/4 inches (43 cm). a) Jobsite - On or about May 1, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the frame of the scaffold employees were using to climb onto scaffolds had rungs that had a space of 16 3/4 inches or less, in that the space between rungs was approximately 18 inches, exposing employees to fall hazards.
