29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2):Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: (a) National Park Service, Lake Mead Recreation Area - Visitor Center, 10 Lakeshore Road Boulder City, Nevada: On or about May 9, 2023, the employer did not ensure the relocatable power tap/power strip was installed and/or used in a workman-like manner and in accordance with the manufacture's recommendations. A power strip used to supply 110-120 volts to a Hotpot refrigerator freezer, model number TS18GBSARWW, serial number, FH774270 in the breakroom was potentially overloaded, and exposed employees who operated the appliance and those working in the immediate vicinity, to electrical and/or fire hazards.
