29 CFR 1926.502(e)(1): Positioning devices were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 2 feet (.9 m): a) Job site, 1000 Ross Park Mall Drive, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about May 9, 2023, during roofing activities, the employer did not ensure that fall restraint systems (positioning devices) were properly used in that employees working outside of the flag lines were using rope grab systems and were walking along the majority of the edge of the building without adjusting their ropes to accommodate such movement, exposing them to fall hazards of at least approximately 20 feet.
