Packages fell from sorting lines in the pre-sort area along the exit route and prevented quick employee egress to an exit in the event of a fire or other emergency.  Violation occurred 11/02/2023  United Parcel Service Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1507910, citation number 1 , item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 20, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 40 Tivoli Drive Wells, Maine 04090.
