29 CFR 1910.176(b):Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: a) Back Storage Area: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent struck-by hazards as demonstrated on or about May 11, 2023 when boxes in the storage area were not stored in such a way as to limit height and ensure stacks are stable to prevent sliding and collapse. b) Back Storage Area: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent struck-by hazards as demonstrated on or about July 6, 2023 when boxes in the storage area were not stored in such a way as to limit height and ensure stacks are stable to prevent sliding and collapse. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
