Flushing, NY     Employees working in an unprotected excavation 5 ft. x 3 ft. x 5.4 ft. in depth were exposed to the hazard of cave-in. An access ladder or other safe means of egress was not utilized in the excavation.

A)      On or about 05/11/23, at the site of 41-75 Bowne Street. Flushing, NY     Employees working in an unprotected excavation 5 ft. x 3 ft. x 5.4 ft. in depth were exposed to the hazard of cave-in. The excavation was not shored or sloped.    ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
