Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) New residential construction located on Lot #302 at 1145 Gilbert Court, Stockbridge, GA; on roof; On or about 04/17/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 22-feet 4-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in roofing activities.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches, whichever is less, were not equipped with one stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge: (a) Residential construction on Lot #302 at 1145 Gilbert Ct, Stockbridge, GA; main entrance stairs: On or about April 17, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards, in that the employer did not ensure stair rails were installed on the stairways for employees to access second floor.
