29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were other provisions of paragraph (b) of this section used to provide an alternative fall protection measure: On or about May 17, 2023, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet while tearing off roofing material on a residential roof and a suitable fall protection system was not used. Miguel Angel Cifuentes Cruz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1629663, citation number 001, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on January 13, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 408 Hillcrest Drive, Washington, IL 61571.
