Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards which were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards associated with being crushed or struck by falling objects:    Location : Warehouse Floor  The commercial steel storage racks used to store boxes and pallets of items such as wine and spirits were not maintained to prevent collapse of the racks.   Deficiencies included, but were not limited to:  Bottom portions of the columns of the storage racks were damaged. Cross bracings were also damaged and/or broken off.
